James Peregrine, 23, of St. Joseph, Missouri, has been accepted into the Peace Corps and will depart for Albania on March 4 to begin training as a business advising volunteer. Peregrine will work with local nongovernmental organizations to improve their business practices. He will assist organizations in their capacity-building, business development, communications, management, and technology skills.
“I was motivated to join the Peace Corps for the opportunity to use my business education within this great organization,” said Peregrine. “I believe that in the United States we have been blessed with many opportunities.
