Aurora, Ill., residents begin Peace Corps service in Guyana


Married Aurora, Ill., residents Stacy Roe, 27, and Casey Lemberg, 27, have been accepted into the Peace Corps will depart for Guyana May 1. Roe will make a difference as a community health promoter and will educate young people on healthy lifestyles, work with expectant mothers and infants on health concerns, and educate on communicable diseases and nutrition. Lemberg will serve as a community education promoter and teach conversational English and content-based English in middle and high schools, in addition to building resources with local teachers.
