“Peace Corps is definitely a life-changing experience, whether it is on a career path or you don’t know what you want to do with your life. It’s something that will change you, it will open your mind, it will get you thinking about things you never thought about before. You will really learn and have incredible experiences in a different culture. It’s an experience that I don’t think I could have gotten anywhere else and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
Peace Corps volunteers are among the best-trained and most qualified international volunteers in the world. Volunteers complete sustainable projects that help their host countries thrive long after they leave. Upon returning to the U.S. Peace Corps volunteers have experiences and perspectives that allow them to launch successful careers in a wide variety of fields.
